I have been living on earth for like 24 years, almost all of them were in my beloved country Jordan, and in those years
plus the past couple of hundred years as people have communicated their stories, and as documents say, it never happened in Jordan to have a freezing weather with no one drop of rain for more than one week continuously.
In the last couple of weeks Jordan has been attacked by freezing nights with average about -3 Celsius every night and +6 Celsius every day, it was freezing enough that AccuWeather dared to decide that the
RealFeal Degree was about
-16 in one of the nights!!
It's the 1st time in Jordan to have
such Celsius Degrees for
such long period; the damage was huge especially in the agriculture field.
On the other hand, neighbor countries had some freezing weather but with rain and snow which made the weather a bit warmer, the weird thing is that some of those countries are having
lack of rain since ages, like Iraq and Saudi Arabia which had snowing nights for the 1st time ever at least as I know, so are United Arab Emirates, Syria and Lebanon, they all got their drops of rain but us here in Jordan, it is so ironic as we are having the series of doubling the price of everything lately, because of the oil prices that were canceled from the Government Plan of paying a percentage of its price to help citizens.
It is ironic that people started saying that rain is fearing Jordan and getting terrified of paying some taxes if it started to drop on its earth, or the rain has been steamed by the burning prices before reaching our earth :)Global Warming is adding more
expensive burden on Jordanian People as winter is becoming more freezing every year and summer is becoming hotter every year, so we started having the winter of
Moscow and the summer of
Africa here in one place, which is requiring a new budget for Air Conditioning in summer and Oil Burning in winter. It's
serious enough that some people are considering woods burning in winter!
This reveals a question, is the world going forward or backward?
At the end I have to admit that we Jordanian People are the Strongest People ever in handling all the obstacles we are facing to survive and to live with the minimum requirements of life in the
safest country ever. We have tolerance like no other people. And despite all of the issues we are having
we don’t lose faith in our country, we even love it more and more every day because we have
dedication and
devotion to our beloved country Jordan like no other people in the world, this was based on
confessions from many other nationalities in Asia, Europe and America. All were
shocked of how Jordanian people love their country, and
