Barack Obama the "Jerusalem will be the capital of Israel" man - what changes can you make as the New US President?
Posted on 11/07/2008 by Rani Dababneh
Barack Obama has done it to the white house, despite all challenges he faced, he won the battle of the US Elections with a clear big victory collecting 364 Electoral Votes (64,688,689 Popular Votes) against John McCain who had 162 Electoral Votes (56,950,451 Popular Votes) of the Total 538 Electoral Votes.
Now, with all the promises he made to make a real positive change in the United States and in the Whole World, and with all the power he has now as a US president impacting the policy of the whole world, I really hope that he would be able to make some positive changes, fixing all mistakes done previously, or at least not making new ones!
In that aspect, I recall his debatable speech that caused a real controversy, about the Middle East issues, especially the Israel-Palestine big issue, when he had couple of sharp words said then rolled back in some interview at the ABC News as written and seen below:
Obama: "Let me be CLEAR, Israel security is sacrosanct, it is non negotiable! ... and Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel, and it MUST remain UNDIVIDED!
Interviewer: for Palestinians, this is unacceptable! when you said that, didn't you realize the significants that has for many people in this region?
Obama: "the fact is that Jerusalem is Israel's Capital, and I was simply saying facts!"
Interviewer: you said it must REMAIN Undivided!
Obama: "I have said after the speech that word was POORLY chosen .... !"
Interviewer: you started the speech with LET ME BE CLEAR!
Obama: "... the wording was poor and should have been corrected ... !!!"
Interviewer: was it a mistake?
Obama: "... I would not say it was a mistake... !"
Obama: "I continue to say that Jerusalem will be the capital of Israel, I have said that before and I will say it again! and I also have said that it is important that we don't simply slice the city in half, but I've also said thats a final status issue, thats an issue that has to be dealt with the parties involved the Palestinians and the Israelis and it's not the job of the United States to dictate the form in which that will take but rather to support the efforts that will be made to resolve this right difficult issue with its long history!"

We realize that US is the proxy of Israel.. In all muslim country know. JoomlaYan.com prayed may Allah bless palestine.
Hope that so UAE can make something with the OIL factor.
Even with all the illegal funds Hamas contributed to the Obama campaign, Israel is still the favorite. But thanks for the money anyway, we really appreciate it! Hey, guess who was just appointed to White House chief of staff?
