Free Backlinks on High Page Rank Pages - DoFollow Blog!

I have recently removed the NoFollow tag from my blog, making my blog a DoFollow Blog, so you can all get free backlinks for your sites easily by commenting on any of my posts, so all what you have to do now is to find any post of mine that interests you and make a real comment on it to get a free backlink to your site or blog, but please don't do any spam comments as they will not be published.

My Home Page has a good Google PageRank which is 3 (PR3), but I got some internal pages (posts) with higher PageRank as PR4, and other pages with PR3, PR2 and PR1 so search for the best page that interests you with the maximum PageRank and do you real comment!

So that will be another way of the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques you are using, besides all the other ways as Website Submission, directory submission, Link Exchange and many more techniques to boost and improve Page Rank and Link Popularity, no need to buy backlinks here! so now after a short period, if you do your analysis and check your backlinks or your link popularity or track backlinks through any backlink analyzer or backlink checker, you will find my backlink to your site.

I am also thinking to do a list of DoFollow blogs and Websites, so if you dofollow then you can all drop your links here as comments to be included in the DoFollow List, gaining another Backlink there, and increasing traffic to your sites!

I am also interested in Link Exchange if anyone is interested to get actual natural backlink that appears to everyone in my links section in the home page, visible and functioning in all pages, you can send me an Email if you are interested in free link exchange!

Free Backlinks

Wondering what is a Backlink? what are the benefits of Backlinks? why to build links form high PR Pages? why to create back links to your site? why backlinks are important? check out some backlink related concepts definitions copied from wikipedia here:

What are BackLinks?

Backlinks are incoming links to a website or web page. The number of backlinks is an indication of the popularity or importance of that website or page. In basic link terminology, a backlink is any link received by a web node (web page, directory, website, or top level domain) from another web node (Björneborn and Ingwersen, 2004). Backlinks are also known as incoming links, inbound links, inlinks, and inward links.

Search Engine Rankings

Search engines often use the number of backlinks that a website has as one of the factors for determining that website's search engine ranking. Websites often employ various techniques (called search engine optimization) to increase the number of backlinks pointing to their website.

There are various factors for determining the quality of a back link. Main factor is the page rank of the web page giving the back link. Back link from high ranked site is of good quality. Second factor is the subject of the pages which are linked by a back link. If both sites are discussing the same topic, the back link is relevant and of good quality. Third important thing is the anchor text of the back link. If the anchor text is related to the theme of the website (where the link is pointing), then it is called a good quality back link. A good quality back link will increase the page rank of your website.

What is PageRank?

PageRank is a link analysis algorithm that assigns a numerical weighting to each element of a hyperlinked set of documents, such as the World Wide Web, with the purpose of "measuring" its relative importance within the set. The algorithm may be applied to any collection of entities with reciprocal quotations and references. The numerical weight that it assigns to any given element E is also called the PageRank of E and denoted by PR(E).

The name PageRank is a trademark of Google. The PageRank process has been patented (U.S. Patent 6,285,999 ). The patent is not assigned to Google but to Stanford University.

History of PageRank

PageRank was developed at Stanford University by Larry Page (hence the name Page-Rank[3]) and later Sergey Brin as part of a research project about a new kind of search engine. The project started in 1995 and led to a functional prototype, named Google, in 1998. Shortly after, Page and Brin founded Google Inc., the company behind the Google search engine. While just one of many factors which determine the ranking of Google search results, PageRank continues to provide the basis for all of Google's web search tools.

PageRank is based on citation analysis that was developed in the 1950s by Eugene Garfield at the University of Pennsylvania. Google's founders cite Garfield's work in their original paper. In this way virtual communities of webpages are found. Teoma's search technology uses a communities approach in its ranking algorithm. NEC Research Institute has worked on similar technology. Web link analysis was first developed by Jon Kleinberg and his team while working on the CLEVER project at IBM's Almaden Research Center.

So what is more important, backlinks or keywords? I always thought keywords weighed more ? I run http://shortstory.us.com and try to mention keyword "short story" as much as possible... should i be focused more on link swapping?

Casey Quinn.. backlinks and keywords are both very important and actually linked together, "keywords" is not about how much you mention them in your site but how much u mention them in ur backlinks!! so in ur case u gotta do ur backlinks with "short story" as the anchor text for ur backlinks!

this is why PageRank is so important, if u want to increase traffic for ur site (especially traffic coming from google organic -search results-) then u gotta work on ur PageRank!!

I Think thats an excellent idea. Many commentators who are "link' interested and even find places where they can comment, won't do it. reason "no Follow". if spamming is filtered properly then its a win win sitatuin. The owner get content refreshed and commentator geta link. I think many will follow your pattarn.
Great Thinking and good luck.

I thought that if a site has loadsa out going links, it will loose its page rank, as opposed to a site with very few outgoing links.

I think these dofollow links are good way to promote blog. People are interested to comment texts.

But after all we have to remember that the most important thing in SEO is the content of your own site. Right?

Don’t be too much worried about links. It is usually considered that the more links Google sees, the more traffic you get. But back links can easily be achieved by keeping fresh and unique and original content on the site. A site that has freshly and regularly updated content attracts more traffic. If users are impressed and satisfied with your content they will automatically cast a vote. The most important thing is not code, not page rank but the content. It is said "Content is the king" The greatest challenge should be to create websites that are useful to others
