Rani Mukherjee is my Google Competitor - Rani is a name for Males!!
Posted on 4/29/2008
It feels a bit weird to know that your name can be used for naming people form the opposite sex, like many arabic names: Farah, Wesam and so on.
In my case "Rani" i never though that I would find people having my name even from the same sex (males), because it's one of the most rare names in region, and i really like that - to be rare in everything even your name - and I won't really like it when someone calls my name to have at least 10 people responding to the caller saying "ya, what's up"!
Though Rani is an arabic name (shocking right? it's of the verb rana, yarno, rani "رنا يرنو فهو راني" meaning the one who looks forward or the one who's targeting something high), and it's a rare name for males in the arabic region, but it seems to be a famous females name in India (lol), as they have a famous hot celebrity called:
Rani Mukherjee Wikipedia:
[Rani Mukerji (Bengali: রাণী মুখার্জী)
born on March 21, 1978, is an award winning Indian film actress who works in Bollywood movies.
Making her acting debut with Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat (1996), Mukerji had her first commercial success with Kuta Johar's romance Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), her biggest hit so far, and won her a Filmfare Best Supporting Actress Award for her performance in the film. She later starred in many films, most of which fared below expectations. She re-invented her image with Saathiya (2002), which was commercially and critically successful.
In 2004, her performances in the hit Hum Tum and the critically acclaimed Yuva earned her the Best Actress and the Best Supporting Actress awards at the Filmfare, making her the first actress to win two major awards in the same year. She received unanimous praise for her role as a deaf-blind girl in the film Black (2005), as well as many awards for her memorable performance, establishing herself as a leading actress in Bollywood.]
So, this very famous name "Rani Mukherjee" became my google name competitor (lol), as it's very famous searchable keyword, it's getting harder and harder for me to be listed in google first page results for the keyword "rani", but one day it will come true ;p.
I also discovered that this keyword "Rani" is a respected Google keyword with almost 80% Advertiser Competition and almost 50% Search Volume. having many relevant search keywords as: rani mukherjee, rani mukerji, rani mukherji, raja rani, anita rani, rani hot, rani sexy, rani wallpapers, pictures of rani mukherjee pics photography rani mukherjee photo gallery, rani resorts, and maybe one day "rani dababneh" lol.

lol ya she's HOT for sure!!
n glad u think she is hot NOT me hehe lol
The name Rani isn't so unique you know, but being unique isn't always that great.
I google myself every once in a while too. I even had other people with my last name find my site by googling themselves. I'm upto number 7 on googling Hani.
Here's a tip, each page on your site has metatag for keywords. Always include your name in the tags. It will add up.
Rani is a Hindi (India>Hindus>Kings & queens) word which represents wife of king.
English tanslation of Rani is Queen means Begam in Farsi(Persian).
hani.. being unique is always great, having a unique name is nice but also got some disadvantages besides its advantages, n thanx for the basic tip now am doing other advanced techniques as the meta keywords thing is not weighted as much as u think!
web-hosting.. thanx for the info but "Rani" is also an Arabic Name and it has its Arabic meaning as i mentioned above!
she is amazing. no shame in losing the google search competition to her.
just keep "plugging" away haha
Rani is meant for "queen" in Hindi.
in indonesia, rani also for female's name.
Rani, Rana, Rona, female names.
in your case, yup. it's rare. :)
huyyy......................rani mukherjee is the best and coolllll
